Portraits

We’ve been doing portrait photography since 2005. One of our favorite things about doing portraits is that we get to create works of art for people using our camera as an artist tool.

In our photography sessions, we like to keep things moving. We like to do a number of locations at one place to give a good variety of poses and backgrounds so it keeps all the images interesting with different colors and lighting. For example, at a park, we could do photos next to a patch of wildflowers, then sit on a bench, then walk to the beach with the water as a backdrop then get some photos with a lighthouse in it all in one photo session.

We use a combination of formal poses and spontaneous natural looks during the photo session. For those of you nervous about posing, don’t worry. Our clients always say we do a great job guiding them through easy steps to look their best.
