Since 2005, I’ve photographed in the style of portraiture. Creating works of art for people while using my camera as an artist’s tool is easily one of my favorite tasks.

Portrait Settings

Choosing the right settings can make a significant difference in the final outcome of your portraits. I use a combination of natural and artificial lighting to highlight your best features and generate variety.

We’ll discuss locations that complement your style and personality, whether it’s a patch of wildflowers at a lush park, cozy bench amongst an indoor setting, or a walk on the beach with mountains for a backdrop.

Pricing

Investing in professional portrait photography is a wonderful way to create lasting memories. I offer a la carte pricing so you can choose however many photos or few photos you would like based on your budget. Prices start at $850 ($350 session fee + $500 print credit).

Working with Brian was a pleasure. I hired Brian to take pictures for my secret proposal at Mt. Rainier. Even though Brian and I live on the opposite coasts of U.S., the communication was not an issue. Brian would always respond to me within a day. Since he is a Seattle local expert, Brian recommended the rendezvous location and time for my proposal. After my proposal, Brian took my fiancée and I to a couple of his secret spots for photo shoot. What an experience to work with Brian - he is the best! We used him for our engagement shoot in Mt. Rainier. Everything from the pre-shoot video call to help us prep through the very minute when we wrapped up, Brian made my fiance and I feel comfortable all the way. We had a great experience working with Brian. We were looking for a photographer in Seattle who would be able to capture the beauty of the PNW during our engagement photos. Brian did an excellent job in listening to what we envisioned for the session while providing his professional insight on time of day for best lighting, setting up, etc. He got our photos back to us within 2 weeks and was very timely with sending the USB containing our photos as well. Brian is a great professional photographer. When we were shopping around for wedding photographers, Brian made it so easy to work out details even when we were across the country. Brian is a great communicator. When COVID delayed/postponed our wedding, Brian reached out to us first to figure out next steps. We ended up doing a photo shoot when we were in Seattle. During the shoot, Brian had a good eye for interesting background and poses. I am happily surprised how some came out!
