Alice and David’s special day was filled with lots of smiles and laughter as well as a few wardrobe changes. They started off getting ready for their wedding day in their Chinese wedding attire. David changed into his outfit in one house while Alice changed into her dress at another house down the street.
When I went to photograph Alice and her bridesmaids getting ready, Alice offered me Chuck’s famous maple bars. I was surprised I had never had them before because they were the best maple bars I’ve ever eaten. That’s saying a lot coming from this doughnut connoisseur! If you haven’t had them yet, do yourself a favor and go get some here!
Once Alice was dressed, David came over to her place to do the first look. After that, we drove back to where David got ready in order to do the traditional tea ceremony. Upon completion of the ceremony, I took a lot of family photos, everyone ate some delicious Chinese food, Alice put on her traditional American dress, and David put on his suit. We then took off to Kubota Garden to do wedding party photos.
After Kubota Garden photos, the wedding party had a limo drive them to Olympic Sculpture Park where we did more photos. After that, we went to the venue, Bell Harbor, where Alice and David were married and danced the night away.
A big thank you goes to my second photographer, Cheryl, for capturing a number of amazing moments for the couple’s big day!
And a huge thank you goes to Alice and David for trusting me to be their photographer on their wedding day! Congratulations to Alice and David!!
