Three of my favorite Seattle wedding venues

I’ve photographed a number of weddings at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center over the years and have to say they are three of my favorite venues to photograph. If you’re looking to have a wedding, reception or an event, I highly recommend all of them for the following three reasons: The staff are always nice to work with, the food they serve is some of the best around, it’s the only venue I really like in case it rains because there are sheltered areas to photograph people outside, and the scenery is really amazing, especially if you’re there during a beautiful sunset.

Oftentimes, you can access the Bell Harbor International Conference Center roof and get classic Seattle scenes of the waterfront and cityscape as long as there isn’t a wedding going on at the Rooftop Plaza or a cruise boat in the terminal next to it.

The location is great for guests because it’s right along the Seattle waterfront and next door to nice hotels where guests can stay such as the Seattle Marriot Waterfront and The Edgewater Hotel where the Beatles and many other famous people have stayed.

I like the location because it’s only 4 blocks in either direction for great spots to photograph wedding parties. To the east is Pike Place Market and to the northwest is Olympic Sculpture Park where I’ve photographed a number of Seattle brides and wedding parties over the years and know what specific spots to take people to capture the best light and background for wedding photos.

If you choose the World Trade Center Seattle, Harbor Room, or Rooftop Deck, you can’t go wrong for your wedding. Please enjoy the photos below that I’ve taken over the years at these venues.
