After photographing a number of UW Husky couples, I was glad to get back to WSU Cougar couples with this engagement session with Kaitlyn and Chris. They proudly wore my alma mater colors and I had fun photographing them with some school spirit. And since they’re also true to the blue, I had to get some photos of them in their Seattle Seahawks gear. We enjoyed coming up with ways to display their love for their teams.
We started off at the home of the Seahawks, CenturyLink Field, to get some photos of the stadium. We didn’t have any inside connections so we were limited to only photos on the outside of the stadium. After that, we went to Lincoln Park to capture some Northwest nature scenes and then we wrapped up the engagement session at Alki Beach with a nice backdrop of the Seattle cityscape.
I am looking forward to photographing their wedding this summer at a nice wedding venue in Woodinville – Willows Lodge.
