Discovery Park has a lot to offer for photography. You can photograph a field of flowers in the summer, the beautiful colors of the trees in autumn, a lighthouse, and you can do portrait sessions using all of these as backdrops.
I photographed a senior with bright autumn colors in the background a few days prior to my engagement session. So I was surprised when I showed up to the same park a few days after the senior session and noticed a couple trees had already finished shedding their colorful leaves for the year. I was a bit concerned that there was going to be little color left. But after further exploration of the park, I was excited to find some nice autumn scenes for Ryan and Kristy.
They were good sports in hiking all the way down to the lighthouse. I knew that the light would be pretty good for photos by the time we would get there so we took our time on the photo session and enjoyed the beautiful autumn scenery.
Ryan and Kristy were fun to photograph and I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in 2015!
