Each year, I photograph weddings where the bride and groom are UW Huskies or at least Husky fans because I do many of them in Seattle. On occasion, I photograph WSU Cougars getting married and I have to say, they are the ones with the most school spirit. They try to incorporate many Coug things into their wedding day plans or at least for their engagement session. But I’ve never come across a couple that has more school spirit than Chris and Kaitlyn! They got the Coug flag out for their engagement session and even incorporated it into their wedding ceremony. It wouldn’t surprise me if they go to an ESPN Gameday college football game across the country to raise the Coug flag in front of the ESPN cameras to keep that tradition going. Heck, I could see them in another country holding the Wazzu flag at a college football game like here!
Chris and Kaitlyn had their ceremony and reception at Willows Lodge in Woodinville. It was fun spending the day with them and it was good seeing some nice people I used to work with from the City of Bellevue.
